after which during our lecturer we were given a Outside Class Activity OCA... well i manage to complete it slightly earlier and have it submitted .i would say it wasn't hard but it wasn't easy too , all the example i had to crack my brain and think about it but its a good experience =)

here is my question and ans =)

Wei Hao: List three reasons why a project must be managed.
Illustrate an example to the reasons provided.
1. A project must be managed as every project has a timeline set and the project have to be completed on the specific time, if no one is there to manage it there would be a chance that the project might overshot the time limit that is given and lead to company lost of money and reputation of the company could be at stake.
• Company ABC signed a contract with Company BCD and was suppose to complete the project of building Product #001 by 31th Oct 2010 but due to certain problem encountered by the company ABC was unable to present Product #001 to the Company BCD on time. This might lead to Company have to pay for the loss of Company BCD.

2. A project requires a team to complete it. So every single worker have to be managed to ensure their working performance, this will ensure the project would go on smoothly and work can go on to complete on time. If no one is there to ensure the workers are productive the project might be at risk of failing.
• Team A was tasked to complete Project ABC by end of the week, but due to some disagreement during the meeting about the project, among the teammates in the team they are not cooperating with each other to get the task completed. Thus project should be managed to ensure the team would be productive and the workers would come to an agreement during discussion

3. Projects have to be managed to ensure the qualities of all jobs done are up to standard and safe. If job are done not up to standard it would not only tarnish the company reputation, it might also endanger the life of others.
• Company B was tasked to build a bungalow for Customer A. During the process of the project, due to inflation, the cost of raw materials increased. Thus Team B decided to cut costs in raw materials and ended up buying materials of lower grade. After the project ended, the bungalow collapsed and injured some people. This might lead to Company B being sued by the customer and the injured parties.

well well thats all for now folks time for me to work on other stuff
till then =) ...............
